Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Nimo Robotics Inc. ("Nimo", "we", "us") collects when you visit heynimo.in, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. We keep this deliberately short and plain.

The short version: we collect your email address only if you choose to give it to us, we use it only to tell you about Nimo, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing nimo.cutu@gmail.com.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

Email address — when you join the waitlist. This is the only field we ask for.
Messages — anything you write in the feedback box, plus an optional email address so we can reply.

Information collected automatically

Usage analytics — pages viewed, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type, referring website, and interactions such as clicking "Join the waitlist". This is collected through Google Analytics 4.
Technical logs — our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address and request time for security and reliability.

We do not collect payment details, and we do not ask for your name, phone number, or address.

2. Why we use it

To add you to the Nimo waitlist and notify you when pre-orders open.
To answer questions and feedback you send us.
To understand which parts of the site are useful, so we can improve them.
To protect the site against abuse and spam.

We rely on your consent when you submit your email, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving the site for analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make this site work:

Supabase — stores the waitlist database.
Web3Forms — delivers waitlist and feedback notifications to our inbox.
Google Analytics — website analytics.
Render and Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery.

These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside your country. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising or retargeting cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to distinguish one visit from another and to measure how the site is used. Nothing about you is sold to advertisers.

You can block these at any time using your browser's cookie controls or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking them does not affect your ability to join the waitlist.

We also store a copy of your waitlist submission in your own browser's local storage, purely as a safety net so the form can confirm you already signed up. Clearing your browser data removes it.

5. How long we keep it

Waitlist emails are kept until Nimo launches and you have been notified, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first. Feedback messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve your query. Analytics data is retained on Google's standard retention schedule.

6. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

tell you what information we hold about you,
correct anything that is wrong,
delete your information entirely,
stop sending you email, and
provide your information in a portable format.

Email nimo.cutu@gmail.com and we will action it within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority; if you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you equivalent rights.

7. Security

The site is served entirely over HTTPS. The waitlist database is configured so that submissions can be written but the email list cannot be read from the browser by anyone. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of data we hold as small as possible, which is the best protection of all.

8. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has submitted their email, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting people already on the waitlist will be communicated by email.
